EastLondonLines is changing…

A  new crew has taken over EastLondonLines and you can watch us slipping into something more comfortable for the summer. The news will still be there of course.
Our intrepid reporters will still be watching over the four boroughs along the line but we will be homing in on some less serious pursuits too in our new sections:

MUSIC will be following the people and the music along the line.

SUMMER  will tell you all about the unmissable events in our patch and we will review them too (just in case you do miss them).

PEOPLE  will be launched with CelebLine, a light hearted look at just who you may be rubbing shoulders with as you ride the line.  We will also be interviewing the people who bring you your Latte and Leffe as well as those who probably drink alongside you.

And for the shoppers out there we will have an exclusive guide to every VINTAGE shop along the line.  This is just a small selection of the events we will be flagging up and covering too:

June 5th Hackney Unites will be celebrating the diversity of the borough.

June 11th EastLondonLines will tell the best pubs to watch the World Cup -depending on which team you support.

June 17th MacMillans  Brick Lane Take Over when MacMillans  Cancer Support charity will be filling the Lane with music. We will be there and we hope you will be too.

June 22  New Cross at Glastonbury our reporters will be there telling you what our local bands are getting up to.

Then, in July, we will be welcoming a group of 16-19 year olds who will be trained to work with us over the school holidays. If you are a reporter in the making, you live along the East London Line, and you would like to join our summer workshops and write for ELL, the please  email Ben on b.gwalchmail@gold.ac.uk and become a part of East London Lines.
