Music Technology and Creative Arts Training
The Institute of Music Technology are offering 10 places on the new ‘A’ Level Music Technology and Creative Arts Courses. A full time, 1-2 year course specifically for 17 to 18 year olds by Glenthorne Music Academy and IMT Hurricane. Successful applicants will also be able to gain supplementary A Levels in two or more subjects of their own choice – including Film, Drama, Photography and Dance. See bottom of page for more info.
Brockley Jack Theatre
The Brockley Jack theatre, just a stone’s throw from the Honor Oak stop on the East London Line, starts the Autumn season with Recognition Theatre’s fast-paced production of Hamlet, set in post-war Britain and Beth Henley’s Pulitzer prize winning drama Crimes of the Heart. The theatre has launched Write Now 2 – a new writing festival for south east London. If you are a playwright with a connection to the area, you can enter using the details at the bottom of the page.
Learn to sing
Always wanted to sing? A short course at Blackheath Halls will help you to explore the possibilities of your voice. You will learn about the need for posture, breath control and some of the basic techniques to sing well.
World Within Worlds exhibition
