There is growing concern for 12-year-old boy Amari Glenn who went missing on Sunday 17th Octocber from his home address in Hackney.

Amari was last seen on Redwald Road at 3.50pm and has not been in contact with family and friends since, which is very out of character for him.

He is black and about 5ft tall with short hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded woollen thigh length coat, a black and white horizontal striped top, dark blue jeans and black and white trainers with Velcro straps.

The young boy is believed to have £5 on him but without a phone or travel card. He regularly travels by bus and is often seen on the 242 bus route.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward and call Hackney Police’s missing persons unit on 020 7275 3404 or 07990 79587.

UPDATE: Amari Glenn was found on a night bus in Aldgate at 5am on Thursday. The bus driver alerted officers from City of London police and he was returned home safe.

Hackney police have thanked the public for their help in finding the 12-year-old boy.
