Police appeal for missing Croydon woman

Police have issued an appeal over a missing Croydon woman. Sarah Lloyd, 37, from Purley, has been missing since August 30, and was last seen in Mitcham Road in Croydon. She is described by police as being “approximately 5ft 5ins tall, of medium build with long brown-mousy hair”. It is understood she was last seen wearing oversize trousers, and was carrying a rucksack.

Lloyd is understood to have links to the Croydon and South London area, but may have also travelled to other parts of the country – possibly to the Somerset/Devon area.

Officers are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing Lloyd who they say may now appear “disheveled”.  There are serious concerns for her safety and police are eager to receive any information about her whereabouts.

In their appeal, Croydon police advise the public not to approach Lloyd if they see her, but to call 999. They ask anyone who may have seen her or knows of her whereabouts contact the Missing Persons Unit at Croydon on 020 8649 1891.
