A man was stabbed in Dalston in the early hours of Friday morning. Police were called to the scene of the incident at Downham Road.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that officers and ambulances were at the property where the victim was found.
The man, who is in his 50s, is suffering from wounds to the head and is being treated in hospital. He is said to be in a stable condition.
No one has been arrested but detectives are investigating. EastLondonLines will update the story here as more information emerges.
