A-side/B-side gallery, a studio space in the new Hackney Downs Studios, is looking for new members who want to work and exhibit in there.

Alongside using the studio as a workplace, artists can also teach, network, and run or attend workshops. Those who rent areas may also use the 450sqft project space.

The gallery is run by artists, who hope to house a collective of both emerging and established talent.

Hackney Downs Studios on Amhurst Terrace is the new home of the community of creatives formerly based at Netil House in London Fields. The site includes nine venues and four rooftops.

Tinsel Edwards, who is involved in running the venture, said that the gallery would open its doors to the public in February. She hopes to offer a centre of “diverse creativity” which will serve the local community, be a centre for research and provide a platform for artist development.

Studios are available from the end of January. If you are interested, email asidebsidegallery@hotmail.com or call Catherine on 0779212619 or Tinsel on 07876340293.
