Applications for primary school admission close in just two weeks pic: soil-net

The deadline for primary school applications for admission in 2012-13 is Sunday 15 January, Lewisham Council have said.

If your child was born between September 1 2007 and 31 August 2008 then the deadline for primary school admission affects you. For more information on the admissions process, call the council’s Admissions and Appeals Team on 020 8314 8282 or email: schooladmissions@lewisham.gov.uk.

Some Lewisham schools are set to create additional classes to meet the high demand for places in 2012. Eliot Bank Primary School has agreed to admit two additional reception classes for the next academic year, meaning a total of 120 places will be available.

Haseltine Primary School has also agreed to the idea, pledging to admit one additional reception class this year so a total of 90 places will be available.
