Tower Hamlets council is exploring a possible regeneration of Watts Grove Depot in Bow.

A council spokesperson said: “The council is currently seeking interest from developers and housing providers to develop the Watts Grove Depot site if and when it becomes available as surplus to depot requirements.”

If implemented, the project is likely to deliver up to 200 affordable homes funded in the market through the selected development, the council said.

The successful bidder(s) may also be responsible for management of the estates through a registered social landlord, and may be required to provide financing to the council in order to fund the works.
