Family and friends of an actor who went missing from Bethnal Green on March 1 are appealing for anyone with information as to her whereabouts to come forward.
Brothers and friends of Gemma McCluskie carried out a search in Bethnal Green last night, knocking on doors, hanging up posters and asking locals about any information.
McCluskie’s brother, Danny, 33 told EastLondonLines that last night’s efforts revealed no new leads, but that their search will continue.
The search group was set up from the Bird Cage pub on Columbia Road and welcomed people to come and contribute in helping with the posters.
The 29-year-old actor who played Kerri Skinner in 30 episodes of EastEnders in 2001 disappeared on Thursday and was last seen around the Bethnal Green area.
McCluskie’s brother, Tony, said that his sister was wearing blue leggings, a mustard coloured top, big sunglasses and dark brown Uggs on the day she disappeared.
Anyone with information is urged to phone Tower Hamlets Missing Persons Unit on 0207 275 4589.
