Hackney man charged with Gaynor Bale murder

A man from Hackney has been charged with the murder of Gaynor Bale, 34, after she was found dead in her home on November 22.

Douglas Samuel, 34, of Marian Court, appeared in custody at the Old Bailey on November 28 charged with murdering Gaynor Bale in her home of Anderson Road.

The post mortem carried out on November 23 gave the cause of death as blunt trauma injury, resulting in a ruptured liver.

Samuel is due to appear for his plea and case management hearing, on March 4, 2013.
