From pancakes to macarons, savoury Filipino feasts to indulgent breakfasts – this week is all about food. Whether you decide to make it, flip it, or race it, we know what you’ll be doing at the end…eating it. Just loosen up those belts and dig in. The Great Spitalfields Pancake Race

Join the Great Spitalfields Pancake Race in aid of London’s Air Ambulance. Teams of four will race up and down Dray Walk - suitably dressed up (or down). Hot pancakes will be provided, just bring along your own frying pans. The Lost Marbles String Band will keep the music playing and clowns will be waltzing about to keep things extra entertaining. Some kitchen-themed prizes are up for grabs and winners can snag them by claiming the titles of best dressed and best behaved.

Out of Pepe's Kitchen comes a passion-fueled project from two friends with a love of Filipino food. And they want to share it with you. The name, Kamayan Supper Club, roughly translates as two things: first, eating with your bare hands and second, shaking hands. So it is through a bit of eating and socialising that they hope to bring their love of Filipino food to you. Don't forget - it's BYOB.
