If you need an excuse to celebrate 4th of July this year, look no further than Wood Wharf as 20 of the country’s finest food trucks will be rolling in to tout the taste of the USA amidst a soundtrack of Bluegrass and Honky Tonk.

Truck Stop, which will be running Thursday to Friday at the start of July, August and September, will be the largest collection of food trucks ever assembled in London. Befitting of its ‘murican inspiration the words of the hour will be ‘choice’ and ‘quantity’.

The Rotary Bar will be mixing cocktails in its ‘Mobile Margherita Mixing Machine’, a ‘Roadside Diner’ will be offering its three course soul-food set menu and larger groups can book a table at the ‘Smoke Barbeque Pit’. Other mobile mouth-waterers include the Jhalmuri Express, Schwarma Shack and Mac ‘n’ Cheese.

If this fleet of immaculate food vendors is still not enough to set the vibe, a side-serving of chrome and BHP will be provided by the American classic car exhibition.

Tickets will cost £10 and each one comes with 10 Truck Stop Dollars to spend at the Rotary Cocktail and Kraft Beer Bars.
