Third man charged with murder of Nathan Allen

A third man has been charged with the murder of New Cross man Nathan Allen, which took place on May 4 2010. Nathan Allen, aged 21, was found with a gunshot wound in Ludwick Mews Garden on the Woodpecker estate and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Yesterday, Curtis Quashie, aged 21, of no fixed address, was charged with Allen’s murder and is due to appear at Bromley Magistrate’s Court today.

Two other men,  Jamal Green, aged 19, of Engleheart Road, Catford, and 21-year-old Bosun Sode, of Joseph Hardcastle Close, New Cross, also stand accused of his murder.

These two men appeared at the Old Bailey on 13 August 2013 and are being remanded in custody until a plea hearing to take place on 29 October.

The investigation in to Allen’s murder has been led by the Trident Gang Crime Command, who last year offered a £20,000 reward for information about this case on the second anniversary of his death.
