East London continues to celebrate Black History month, marking the occasion with one off comedy nights and gospel singing performances. Elsewhere, Autumn is in full swing with the celebration of Apple day, Green Fair markets or, if you prefer, an evening of urban food.

Urban Food Fest: The Beatles Theme

Nominated for the best street food event at ‘The British Food Awards’, Urban Food Fest has been a roaring success in the last month. The weekly event celebrates some of the UK’s best food traders from across Britain and has earned critical acclaim and achieved front-page in London’s Time Out magazine. Closing the seasonal event, this Saturday is a Beatles themed celebration – where those with dressed to fit the bill will earn prizes!
The Urban Food Fest was founded by City Lawyer Jessica Tucker who says that: “The Fest features all the elements of a perfect night out: Great food, cheap and wide selection of drinks, live music, seating area and great atmosphere. The incredible feedback in the Press has culminated in being nominated as the Best Street Food Event at The British Street Food Awards.
