With music from Lewisham Live, Soul Control,  and the Trinity Laban Jazz Choir theres plenty to dance around about this week. Enjoy our lineup of jumble sales, fun runs and technology meet ups, and whatever you do, don’t forget St Patrick’s Day!

Lewisham Live

Lewisham Live is a three-week festival celebrating music, dance and song. This year will be the 5th time the event will be held and expect performances by young people from Lewisham, across various venues in the borough.

Soul Control 003

Soul Control has teamed up with XXY magazine to bring a vinyl only night in Deptford. With no restrictions to the musical genres being played, and sponsorship from Coventry’s Poison Cocktails, this event cannot be missed.

Soul Control will play on Saturday 15 March at the Bunker Club, Deptford.

St Patricks Day at The Water Poet

St Patrick’s Day is coming up and The Water Poet is celebrating it with Irish Music and authentic dishes! A special St Patrick’s Day lunch menu will be served from midday featuring traditional Irish dishes.

Trinity Laban Jazz Choir

Students from Trinity Laban’s jazz choir will hold a concert at Old Royal Naval College led by UK’s leading jazz choral director. The choir is led by the internationally respected educator and jazz musician Simon Purcell.

DeBeauvoir Table Top Sale

DeBeauvoir Community Group is running their successful Table Top Sale at St. Peter’s Church. This is the place for you if you have things you want to sell or if you want to get some retro clothes, antiques and second hand items. Tea and cakes will be on sale and there will be a raffle.

Pick up knick-knacks at St Peter's Church, Haggerston, from 11am to 4pm on Saturday March 15.

Where's Wally Run

Ready for a run in a Where’s Wally costume? The National Literacy Trust’s is holding their annual run in Victoria Park. All are welcome, including children aged eight and over.
