If you’re looking to do something other than gorging on chocolate, look no further. We have compiled plenty of activities and events, from roller disco skating to taekwondo classes to St Georges day festivities. Don’t worry – we’ve got East London covered!

Lewisham

Kids go Roller Skating

Downham Health and Leisure Centre in Bromley are holding roller skating sessions for 6 to 11 year olds from £2.50 a session. With skating coaching, games and a disco, the kids can basically learn a new skill and attend a party all in one. Open from April 18 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Click here for more information.

Horniman Farmers’ Market

Love everything local and fresh? Head to the Horniman Museum and Gardens to buy fresh fruits and vegetables straight from the farmers on April 19. The market will also have hot food and fresh bread, straight out of the oven. 9am to 1.30-pm.  Click here for more information.

This is the seventh Greenwich Children’s Theatre Festival. Usually, this festival is directed to the little ones, but this year, teenagers and young people can enjoy it too. Bring your children along and have fun. Click here for more information.
