Police were stationed at all polling stations across Tower Hamlets throughout yesterday’s voting hours to ensure a fair and safe voting environment.

Officers were dispatched amid fears that some areas of the UK were vulnerable to fraud or voter intimidation.

The 125 polling stations in Tower Hamlets joined fifteen other ‘high risk’ locations throughout the UK, including stations in Peterborough and Birmingham.
