Police have found the body of Kent resident Jane Sylvia Dale, last seen in Croydon on July 13.

Her body was found in woodlands near Biggin Hill, Kent last Thursday.

Dale, 40, was reported missing after she failed to return from a trip to Croydon.

The mother of three had left her home in Maritime Gate, Kent at around 3.30pm the previous Sunday.

Her silver Ford Focus was later found locked and empty in a remote laneway in Biggin Hill.

The Metropolitan Police have now taken on the investigation and have reported that a post mortem examination was carried out on Friday 18 July.

An inquest at Croydon Coroner’s Court will start on July 21.
