The Brick Lane Gallery is known as a place that welcomes young people to showcase their art. Their current exhibition will display work by young artists from around the world.
The gallery has held an open call for emerging international artists. The exhibition series is called Art in Mind and brings together talents from a variety of artistic media: sculpture, textile, paintings and ceramics.
The gallery team offers full support for artists taking part in the project, including arranging the exhibition, organising the preview, promoting and selling the works.
The Brick Lane Gallery’s initiative for young artists to be shown in the heart of east London has attracted much public attention. Among the visitors are tourists, curators and collectors.
The organisers of Art in Mind told Eastlondonlines that although they have received many portfolios, they are always open to new talent.
Marcela Perez, who works in The Brick Lane Gallery, explained that the aim is to offer space to those who are just starting to develop and want their work to be displayed in London. The exhibition, she said, is a “platform for new and emerging artists” featuring both group and solo shows.
