Detectives investigating the death of a motorcyclist, Conrad Oscar Lewis-Pratt in a road accident on Loampit Vale, Lewisham are hoping to trace three drivers who may have witnessed the incident.

They are searching for the owners of a blue Volkswagen Passat, a silver Toyota Prius and a moped bike after CCTV pictures were realised today.

Lewis-Pratt, a 22-year-old from Brockley, died from multiple injuries after veering off the highway and crashing into a lamppost close to Jerrard Street on 12 September last year.

The man’s family said that they have been left “devastated” by his death and have re-issued an appeal for witnesses to speak to police.

Leading the appeal, Detective Sergeant Richard Budd from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “This was a tragic incident, where a young man has lost his life on the road and his family have been left devastated by it.“

“Despite extensive enquiries, we still don’t know how or why this happened, but we think that the drivers of the two cars and the moped rider may have seen something that could help us to piece together the events of that morning.”

“I must also stress that, at this stage, we are purely looking to speak to these drivers as potential witnesses, so I would urge anyone with information to contact us.”

Anyone with information should call police on 020 8285 1574 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
