Don’t forget to vote! We’re counting down the days to the general election on May 7. Eastlondonlines brings you our picks of the fun election events that will get you excited (it’s possible!) for election day.


The Cat and Mutton
The Cat and Mutton invites everyone to join their Election Night Party, with free wings and burgers served all evening. The public can vote for their preferred fast food by sending an email with either “WINGS” or “BURGERS” to info@catandmutton.com.

FOWL: Are You Game? Election Special
FOWL Cabaret are game makers, curators and professional exhilarators. This Thursday they bring their Are You Game? Election Special to Shoreditch. It is said to be “a perfect night for those who are equally as competitive as they are intrigued”...

Clarion, Arcola Theatre, Dalston
How about enjoying some real political theatre before the polls close? Immigration is the topic under scrutiny in Mark Jagasia’s darkly funny play, set in the newsroom of the country’s most reactionary tabloid.

Election Giggle 2015
Following the success of their 2010 and US 2012 Election Giggles, the Working Men's Club opens its doors to another Election Giggle event. Host Thom Tuck will be joined by guests from the worlds of politics and comedy for a night of live performance, discussion panels and a political playlist. Coverage of the polling results will be screened as and when they come in.

The Fox and Firkin
Head down to The Fox and Firkin this Sunday for their Election Night Special, and hear a veritable hilarity of comedians have fun with the stories of GE2015. The line-up includes Joy Carter (MC), Eddie Fortune, Carmen Ali and Martine Pepper with Juliet Meyers headlining.
