Open The Gate Festival

This June, the cultural organisation Open The Gate celebrates its 6th Anniversary.
As every year we are offering a special event: 13 hours of NON-STOP cultural entertainment, alongside our renowned African Market.

Vintage Market at The Wick

Electric Bloom exhibition

Electric Bloom celebrates the rich heritage of Hackney and is inspired by residents' personal stories. This exhibition showcases works in mixed media created by Hackney artists and residents exploring the borough's textile industry and the exotic gardens and hothouses created by the Loddiges family in Hackney over 200 years ago.

Field Day

The leftfield festival returns for another year – and it's a one-dayer no longer: Field Day 2014 will take up a whole weekend in June. Over the last few years Field Day has become one of the best festivals in London, with a consistently excellent booking policy covering the world's best alternative acts, ranging from weird pop and indie rock to underground dance producers and folk musicians.
