‘Women: New Portraits’ by Annie Leibovitz

Renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz’s new exhibition features some of the planet’s most influential women. It is a continuation of her project which began more than 15 years ago. The exhibition will tour cities worldwide, featuring work from the original series as well as new portraits, including pictures of ballerina Misty Copeland, writer Gloria Steinem, comedian Amy Schumer and tennis champions Venus and Serena Williams. ‘Robinson Crusoe and the Pyrate’

Hackney Players are performing a pantomime story about what happened to Robinson Crusoe after he was rescued. The amateur drama group, now in its 45th year, has put on over 100 productions ranging from Greek melodrama and thrillers to comedy and music hall. The show is on from January 22 to 24 at Morland Community Hall, Gayhurst Road. The Saturday evening show is a charity performance.
