Thirty-five firefighters and six fire engines were called to tackle a large blaze in Hackney today (June 7).
Emergency services were called just after 3.00pm to the house fire on Feldman Close, Stamford Hill. Crews from Stoke Newington, Homerton, Tottenham, Hendon. Hornsey and Leyton fire stations are attending the scene.

London Fire Brigade said it was unclear whether the fire was caused by lightning, after heavy storms hit London earlier in the day.
