Four people have been arrested across the county in connection with the murder of 28-year-old Keeno Harris, who was shot during a mass brawl in Thornton Heath at the end of November.

Harris, a father, was shot during a party at the Upper Level Function Rooms in Thornton Heath in the early hours of Sunday November 27. He died two days later after presenting himself at hospital.

A 40-year-old man was arrested in Wolverhampton on Tuesday, as well as a 39-year-old man in Liverpool – both on suspicion of murder.

Two others, a 36-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man, were also arrested for assisting the murder.

All four are in police custody awaiting transfer to a London police station.

A source told the Croydon Advertiser that Harris had been celebrating his daughter’s birthday the day before his killing.

It is thought that the mass brawl broke out at the Function Rooms – no one else was reported as being hurt.

Tributes have been circulating on social media for Harris, who is known to family and friends as Della.

The post-mortem examination on December 1 confirmed that the cause of death was a gunshot wound.

Detective Chief Inspector Tony Lynes is leading the investigation by the Homicide and Major Crime Command, which is on-going despite the recent arrests.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact the incident room on 020 8721 4868. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
