With 1,279 fans travelling with them for support and many more tuning in at home, Millwall’s search for a play-off place reaches its conclusion on Sunday as they head to Bristol Rovers for an important clash on the last day of the season.

With only three points left to gain this season, Millwall who sit in sixth place, are in prime position to head into the League One play-off semi-finals, as they look for promotion to the Championship.

A win will likely remind fans of the 2009/2010 League One season, in which Millwall went on to win the play-off final 1-0 over Swindon, achieving promotion to the championship.

The Lions go into Sunday’s game from a two-match losing streak but fans will hope their team can recreate the 4-0 home victory over Bristol Rovers earlier in the season.

They will also look to their top scorers Lee Gregory (15 goals) and Aiden O’Brien (13 goals), to lead them into a confirmed play-off spot.

Bristol Rovers sit 10th in the table and head into the last game having nothing but a league position to play for.

After a slow start to the season, Millwall gained momentum in late December, as they went on an undefeated run of 16 games, which lasted until late March. The run took Millwall’s position in the league from 14th to sixth.

Millwall’s season has also included standout wins against the Premier League’s AFC Bournemouth, Watford and last year’s champions Leicester in the FA CUP, before eventually being beaten in the FA Cup Quarter Final by Tottenham.

Millwall manager and former Lions striker Neil Harris looks to guide the Lions back to the Championship after their relegation to League One in 2015.

The ‘Beamback at the Den’ in the Executive Lounge will allow fans to watch the game which kicks off at 12noon. Tickets for the screening cost £10 for adults and £5 for juniors.
