Designer heavan with Dior and Dolce & Gabbana at Serotonin Vintage

Located in the heart of Shoreditch, Serotonin Vintage is second-hand designer heaven.

Elliot Cook, 27, and his sister Rachael, 26, have run the store since 2016, selling everything from 90s Versace to pieces from Chanel, Dior and Dolce and Gabbana.

Both siblings have always had an interest in fashion, however, the idea for a shop came about after Rachael began her own collection of vintage archive items.

“Rachael loves to play dress-up, Serotonin is Rachael’s alter-ego”, said Elliot. “She could express herself through the store.”

Originally from Dorset, the pair started selling clothes online with online E-bay style clothes site Depop, After gaining popularity, they made the move London and opened their first store on Brick Lane.

“It is the mecca of vintage”, said Elliot. “If you do look down the lane, it’s mainly independent. That’s why I like it. The bagel shops, they’re never changing hands. Really it’s pretty true to it’s roots. It is the vintage district of London.”
