Description: There will be two interfaith bike rides touring three places of worship, one tour will start at 10am at Croydon Arena, and the other will start at 10:30am at Smoothbean cafe, Dingwall road. Then there will be a picnic between 2pm and 5pm at Park Hill Recreation Ground.

Town hall takeover with UK Black Pride

Date and Time: Monday June 3 6pm - 10:30pm

Location: Hackney Town Hall, Mare Street, London, E8 1EA

Description: UK Black Pride moves to Haggerston Park this year. The event is a celebration for people of LGBTQ+ African, Asian, Caribbean, Latin American and Middle Eastern descent. There will be a talk between the leader of UK Black Pride, Lady Phyll and Mayor of Hackney Philip Glanville following these talks there will be a Q&A, drinks and a DJ.

Description: This event will give people the chance to hear from Mayor of Hackney Philip Glanville about the new arts and culture strategy. Glanville will be mapping out his plans for the borough's next three years.

Reach into the Abyss

Description: This is a tour of East London, exploring the other side of the industrial revolution. While galleries and wash houses grew with Queen Victoria's reign, so did extreme poverty. The tour talks about the philanthropy that came in this time with refuges, model dwellings, soup kitchens and slum clearance
