Millwall beat Huddersfield two-nil in the return semi-final play-off at the New Den Tuesday night and will now face Swindon at Wembley who they beat 3-2 on their last League One game of the season.

In front of a capacity crowd Steve Morison and Paul Robinson scored first and second half goals that take the lions to their second successive Coca-Cola League One Wembley play-off final.

Millwall had 53 per cent of possession and scored on 23 and 83 minutes. There was a pitch invasion at the end of the match but no reports of any of the trouble that attended a previous meeting between the clubs.

Millwall finished the season in third place one point behind the automatic promotion spot taken by Leeds United. Kenny Jackett’s team kept a clean sheet against a Huddersfield side that was one of the highest scoring in League One.

Millwall’s supporters will be hoping to take the roar of the New Den to Wembley and beat Swindon Town to achieve promotion on 29 May.
