An exhibition examining the East End’s boxing history has opened at Hackney Museum.
East End Boxing Lives looks at the careers of many East End boxing legends, including Terry Spinks (pictured), who took up boxing aged nine and won a gold medal at the 1956 Olympics.
The exhibition – which was financed by a £50,000 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund – opened last week and will run until April 30.
