Two teenage boys injured in Croydon gun attack

Two 17 year-old boys have been gunned down in a house in Croydon.

The two teenagers were shot in a house in Armistice Gardens in South Norwood at approximately 5.00 pm yesterday evening.

Emergency services rushed both victims to hospital.  One of the boys is reported to have sustained serious injuries and is still being treated. The second victim was released from hospital this morning after being treated for a gunshot wound to his leg.

Police are currently investigating two male suspects who were reported to have made their getaway on a motorbike towards Penge Road.

Detectives from the Trident Unit are conducting investigations, but no arrest has been made at this early stage.

Police are appealing for members of the public to come forward if they have any information to aid police with their ongoing investigations.
