A workshop fire in Deptford has been brought under control after 20 fire fighters and four fire engines were called to the scene earlier today.
Reports from the London Fire Brigade say that the building on Mornington Road is badly damaged and that it looks as if four cars have been caught up in the blaze.
A 30-metre ‘hazard zone’ was implemented after fears that a propane cylinder in the workshop could cause an explosion.
The fire department was notified of the fire in the single story workshop at 11.05 this morning and it was resolved at approximately 12.30.
