Five men have been treated for gunshot wounds, believed to have been sustained during a shooting in Homerton, Hackney.

Police officers were called to Homerton High Street in the early hours of Sunday February 19, following reports of gunfire in the area.

The London Ambulance Service arrived at the scene, but no victims were found. However, five men were later treated for minor gunshot wounds at two separate London hospitals.

There have so far been no arrests. Police are appealing for witnesses and those with any information about the incident to come forward. The incident is believed to have been gang related.
