Missing Croydon man found safe and well

The Metropolitan Police have thanked the media for assisting them in their search for Peter Carter, 60, of South Park Hill Road.

He was last seen asleep in bed at 9 p.m. Monday May 21 May and discovered to be missing from the address at 9 a.m. the following day.

Police searched the area around this Croydon address and his home address in Wallington. They have been checking local parks and open spaces, supported by the police helicopter, and made checks of local hospitals without success.

He was found safe and well at 4.45 p.m.on Wednesday, May 23 in the admissions ward at a hospital in Tooting. He was located by a Police Sergeant, who is also a specialist Search Adviser, based at Sutton Police Station.
