Man questioned over Hackney murder

Police are questioning a man in connection with the murder of a 21-year-old who was stabbed to death in Hackney yesterday.

Police were called yesterday morning to reports of a stabbing in Buxhall Crescent in Hackney and found a 21-year-old man suffering with a stab wound to the chest.

London Air Ambulance and paramedics attended the scene and the victim was taken to an east London hospital where he died at around 5:30pm. He has not yet been named by police.

A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in custody at an east London police station.

Scotland Yard Homicide and Serious Crime Command are investigating the murder.
