EastLondonLines make-over. From tomorrow we will have a new and improved theme and banner

ELL is  shaking off its old skin and changing into something new.

Starting Friday (tech- Gods willing) we will have more posts on our home page and a picture slide-show for our lead stories. Using video will also be easier than before and we intend to make use of it.

By the end of next week we hope to have introduced a brand new feature: TwitterBoard.  This will allow anyone who tweets @ell_events to advertise their upcoming gigs, meeting and shows on our home page – with a link to a more extensive listing display. This means that at last we will be able to provide a proper listings service to the EastLondonLines community.

The new look logo and clean, up-dated design was produced by Goldsmiths’ lecturer Andrew Kingham and the new theme has been moulded for our use by Alex Drinkwater.  We hope you like what we have done and with the other 40,000 people who come to our site every month, you will continue to visit us regularly. If there are a few hiccups to start with, please be patient. It takes time to change a skin.
