Further charges over Millwall violence

The Metropolitan Police have charged ten more men in relation to disorder amongst Millwall supporters at the FA Cup semi-final on April 13, when Millwall played Wigan at Wembley.

Nine men have been charged with violent disorder, and one has been charged with breach of a football banning order.

They will all appear on bail at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, May 22.

Violence erupted in the Millwall supporters’ area at Wembley during the match last month. Fans were fighting amongst themselves and also attacked police.

Previously, more than 40 people had been arrested as part of the investigation into the incident.
