Emergency services were called to the scene of a reported road traffic collision near Catford railway station, at the junction of Thomas’ Lane and Catford Road, at 9.15 am.

The woman, who has not been named, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.

A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said: “We sent a single responder in a car, two ambulance crews and a duty officer to the scene.

“Sadly, one patient – a female – was pronounced dead at the scene.”
