East London men charged with the murder of Ajmol Alom

Three men have been charged with the murder of Ajmol Alom, aged 16, and the attempted murder of a 16-year-old male that took place in Spey Street, Tower Hamlets on August 12.

Ali Akbar Choudhury, 20, from John Smith Mews in Tower Hamlets, and Mashudur Rahman, 22, from Stratford were both charged today, with Muhammod Malik, 21, also from John Smith Mews, charged yesterday.

They have also been charged with the attempted murder of a 16-year-old boy who was stabbed through the cheek.

Aminur Nadir Khan, 19, of Robin Hood Gardens, has already been charged with Ajmol’s murder.

Choudhury and Rahman will appear before Thames magistrates on Thursday.

Malik will appear at the Old Bailey on Friday as he has already been remanded in custody by the same magistrates’ court.
