This has been another great week for Croydon’s Rough Copy and Hannah Barratt, along with Hackney’s Kingsland Road, who all made it through to the next round of X Factor live shows.
Both Rough Copy and Kingsland Road made it safely through to the fourth round, whereas it was a near miss for Hannah Barrett, who featured in the bottom two.
As the bottom two contestants were announced this Sunday, it was a battle between Barrett and Miss Dynamix. Barrett performed an emotional rendition of Emeli Sande’s ‘Read All About It’, breaking down in tears at the end of the song.
Sharon Osborne told both acts that it was the best sing off she had heard. She said: “Why is it when you’re on the line, you always deliver? This is how you should be every week.”
Rough Copy were met with screams and cheers from the crowd after their version of ‘Everything I Do’ by Bryan Adams. The crowd reacted to Kingsland road with the same enthusiasm as they performed ‘Pretty Woman’ by Roy Orbison.
