A woman has died after being hit by a bus in Stoke Newington on Saturday October 5, 2013.
The 56 year old was left in critical condition following the collision on Saturday afternoon.
She subsequently died during the night of October 6/7, 2013. Her next of kin are aware of her death but no formal identification has taken place.
Police were called to the junction of Stoke Newington Road and Princess May Road after the woman was struck by a rail replacement bus at around 4:30pm.
The London Ambulance Service transported the woman to an East London hospital where she died the next evening.
Enquiries are set to continue and there have been no arrests.
