Hackney Homemade Christmas Markets

21 December, 11am – 4pm

Pick up the perfect last minute Christmas gifts with plenty of handmade goodies on offer.  All products are made and sourced locally where available. Don’t forget to sample the mulled wine and cider, the perfect way to keep toasty while you enjoy the festivities.

Christmas on Broadway Market

24 December, 9am – 4pm

Carol singers from St Joseph’s Hospice, St Michael’s Church and local schools will keep shoppers entertained and joyful as they browse stalls displaying plenty of local produce, scrumptious street food and gifts produced by local artists and designers.

Make Hackney Sparkle

19 – 20 December, 12pm – 7pm

Held at BL-NK in Shoreditch, this alternative Christmas shopping experience will showcase products by a host of East London based designers that make perfect gifts.  Home ware, clothing, toys and jewellery are all available along with a plenty of warming, festive treats. Be sure to check out the festive art installations.

Festive Treat Zone

21 December 11am – 5pm

Come on down to Lewisham shopping centre for a free event to help out in the run up to Christmas. As well as picking up a few last minute presents, festive shoppers can get a helping hand with their gift wrapping and sample plenty of Christmas treats. Plus, don’t miss you chance to meet Buzz Lightyear and Peppa Pig!

Catford Sound Carol Concert

19 December 1pm – 2pm

Get down to Laurence House on Catford Road and support Catford Sound, Lewisham Council’s staff choir. Watch and take part as they raise money for The Lavender Trust, a charity that funds support and information for young women with breast cancer.

Variety Bunker Christmas Special

22 December 4pm – 12am

The George Tavern is hosting a free, festive sing-along this Sunday. Dress in military uniform (just for a laugh) and have a proper East End knees up, complete with free mince pies and festive treats.

Santa Claus and the Christmas Adventure
