Lewisham

Brockley Max
Brockley Max festival is back after a one-year hiatus. It will be nine days of events that celebrate the arts community.
Brockley Max will be happening from May 30 to June 7.

Big Lunch Street Party
An initiative started by the Eden project the hope is to bring communities together once a year for lunch.
Lewisham’s street party will happen June 1, from 12.30 pm.

Hackney

Rooftop Film Club at Hoxton
What better way to celebrate summer than at a rooftop screening?
The Rooftop Film Club is going be open from May to September at the Queen of Hoxton. This week’s movies include the recent award winner “Dallas Buyers Club”, the classic “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and the 90’s cult “Dazed and Confused”. Check out the program here.

Black Butter
Progressive bass and house label Black Butter - best known for launching Rudimental – are celebrating their third birthday this Saturday.
The party will be held at Village Underground in Shoreditch. The line-up has not been disclosed but there’s the promise of special performances by the label’s biggest artists. Check out more on their Facebook Event Page.

Sex Workers make an Opera
Tonight is the last chance to see an opera written and partly performed by sex workers, which will be staged at the Courtyard Theatre, in Pitfield Street at 8pm.
