Sixty seconds with voters in… Tower Hamlets

On May 22 three important elections will be taking place across Tower Hamlets: Local Government, Mayoral, and European Parliament.

East London Lines took to the streets of Tower Hamlets to find out what issues matter most to local residents ahead of the elections:

In London there are five different boroughs that have a Mayor, and three of these fall in the area covered by East London Lines. They are Hackney, Lewisham, and Tower Hamlets, meaning these areas will also get to vote for a Mayoral candidate.

In the lead up to the elections East London Lines have been taking a closer look at all of the candidates running in the Tower Hamlets Mayoral elections to find out what their policies are. Follow this link to find out more about them.
