Man suffers head injury in argument about water fight

A water fight between children sparked a confrontation that left a 22-year-old man in hospital according to police, who are appealing for information about the incident earlier this month.

The victim was hit over the head with a glass bottle during an argument between two groups of men on Polecroft Lane in Perry Vale on June 8 at around 10pm.

The men disagreed about whether a group of children who had a water fight earlier that evening should have been told off after splashing some people walking past.

The victim’s condition is currently stable.

Police are trying to identify three men they believe are suspects.  The first is black, in his late twenties and approximately 6ft.  He has a beard, short hair and was wearing a black jacket with a zip and collar.  The second is black, in his teens and has a slim build.  He has a ponytail and was wearing a dark tracksuit.  The final suspect is black, in his late twenties and has short hair.
