A man who was stabbed in Lee on Saturday morning is now in stable condition.

Police and the London Ambulance Service were called to a victim in his mid-20’s at 6:40 am, after what police believe was an altercation on Baring Road.

The police are still continuing investigations; no arrests have been made.

This follows a previous incident just weeks ago, where an 18-year-old was stabbed to death in Sydenham. Last year, Lewisham was declared “least peaceful” place in the UK.

East London Lines recently covered the prevalence of knife crimes in the four boroughs. See the infographic here.
