A patient from a mental health facility in Homerton who escaped custody on Saturday has been arrested.

Police said Antony Knowles,  48, who went missing while on escorted leave was arrested at an address in Hackney on Monday evening.

Police who advised the public not to approach Knowles thanked the public for their help in locating him.
