Pictures of three people wanted for questioning have been released by police after a bus ticket inspector was attacked on duty in Lewisham.

The incident happened on Friday, January 3, at about 6pm when three passengers, two men and a woman, attacked a TfL Revenue Protection Inspector when he asked to check their tickets on a 199 bus.

The bus was on Grove Street at the time of the incident. The victim, a 34-year-old male, was punched several times during the attack and incurred facial injuries. The suspects are described as all appearing between 20 and 30 years old.

The first man is of a large build, has very short dark hair with a receding hairline and was wearing glasses at the time of the attack. The second suspect is a white female described as having a large build with shoulder length hair. The third suspect is a white male with a medium build and short hair.
