Kent Police are appealing for help to trace a missing woman last seen in Croydon on July 13, 2014.

Jane Sylvia Dale, 40, was reported missing at 4.30pm on Monday after she failed to return from a trip to Croydon on Sunday afternoon.

The mother of three drove away from her home in Maritime Gate at around 3.30pm on Sunday, with her silver Ford Focus later found locked and empty in a remote laneway in Biggin Hill, Kent.

Detective Inspector Ivan Beasley, of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, said: “It is out of character for Jane to go missing and her family are very concerned for her welfare.”

Dale, who has links to the Croydon area, was last seen in Purley at around 5.45pm

She is described as white, 5ft 9 inches tall and of medium build, with straight, dark brown shoulder length hair and brown eyes.

She is believed to have been wearing blue Adidas trainers, knee length denim jean shorts, and a blue/grey zip up jacket with a black top or short sleeved white top underneath.

The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are urging anyone with information, or anyone who has seen her, to call on 101, quoting reference 14-1119.
