It seemed fitting to feature some of EastLondonLines’ best breweries in the week of the Good Beer Guide – here are some that open their taprooms to the public so you can wile away a pleasant afternoon, sipping the golden nectar just yards from where it was made. If you can tear yourself away, or prefer a hangover-free week, the London Design Festival is taking place for all your culture vulture needs.

Brockley Brewery

Saturday September 13, 10am - 5pm. 31 Harcourt Road, Brockley, SE4 2AJ

Brockley Brewery is open for tastings every Saturday 10am – 5pm. Added bonus: they also sell fresh bread, bicycled to them every weekend by local baker Coopers Bakehouse. Who says gentrification has to be a bad thing?
